Calm
A trip into town this afternoon, and as we drove over the barriers, the sea was like a millpond. Flat calm and beautiful. The wrecks are the remains of blockships, sunk during WW1 to protect the British ships in Scapa Flow. More info here.
This morning had not been very calm as we had 19 members of the Sanday Gardening Club looking round the garden! Lovely to meet them, to hear about their gardens and what it's like living on an island that is very different to ours.
Another perfect day, with endless sunshine from dawn to dusk. Extra is Peridot at 9pm.
