Room 11's Assembly

I had today off, as I have half a day lieu time to use, plus I'm working half a day tomorrow. I went and had coffee with a friend this morning, in amongst all the DIY detritus at their place. She reckons that they'll be listing their house on the market next Thursday...there's some big work going to be done before that. They've come a long way, and it's showing promise, carpet going down on Wednesday.

This afternoon it was the Eldest's class assembly. They put it all together themselves, all about electricity. The Eldest was a mad scientist, and she did really well with her quite long bit that she had to do. Super impressed with her, as she is a quiet soul, and not one to get up in front of a crowd. Some of the children had written a couple of short skits, which the class acted out. They did a stellar job.

After school, as it was glorious weather, we ditched homework and went to the beach. Only just got back in time to throw dinner together, which the family are all eating...I'll have mine after Zumba, which I'm just about to go to.
