Art in the Dark

Tonight was the school disco, which was a lot of fun for the kids. I was on glow stick duty, much better than hotdog duty, but because we sold out quickly, I had to move on to being Door Bitch, stopping children from leaving the building without an adult.

Afterwards, the girls and I went and collected the Husband from work, and attempted to find parking in Ponsonby to go to Art in the Dark. Apparently the rest of Auckland were doing the same, so after a fruitless search for an hour, we went to the Golden Arches (yuck...but only option with parking) to appease grumbling tummies. Once sorted, we went back and managed to find a parking spot and made our way into Western Park for Art in the Dark.

What a sensational event, for FREE! It was all mysterious and lovely. An event well worth going to. I didn't pick one of my sharper images as this one feels more magical and the mood of the evening. LOVED IT!!!
