Rhos(ting) on Sea

With the weather forecast we decided to head to the coast for some cooler sea air.

We headed to North Wales....the temperature already 24 degrees and by the time we got on the motorway it had risen to 27. Thankfully by the time we arrived at Rhos just on midday, it was a lovely 23 degrees, just a slight breeze coming off the sea, perfect!

We were pleased to see plenty of parking spaces, not too many people, and that the promenade has had a facelift. Not quite finished, but looking so much more modern, bright and clean too!

We had a lovely coffee and light lunch, whilst sat looking out to sea, followed by a long and leisurely walk both ways along the seafront.
We walked 13,600 steps, around 6 miles so that took care of the calories consumed at lunchtime ;-)

I took plenty of shots.....three in extras (one of which would be perfect for todays mono Monday challenge, theme of Power, but on such a colourful day, I couldn't bring myself to make it my main blip). As I couldnt decide which to blip, hub chose this as he particularly liked it......nothing to do with the fact that he spotted the lone deckchair on the beach of course ;-))

It was a warm ol drive home, the temperature reached 29!!! Once back at the ranch we had a drink, watered the plants, opened up all the windows then relaxed.

Just watch Portugal v Iran, what a fiasco!!!!

Think its going to be a warm one tonight :-/
