A grand day.

Found a splendid National Trust nature reserve just 20 minutes from our hotel.

1000 nesting Arctic Terns, 30 Little Terns (sadly Storm Hector washed almost all there nest away). The photo is an Arctic Tern which we were able to look down on from just 30 feet away.

Excellent plants too. The extra collage shows Bloody Cranesbill, Goatsbeard and Yarrow. There was also Rosa Pimpinellifolia and many more.
