Lovely times with the grandsons.

The morning with Rio. He had football. I had to learn rather hastily how to help put on shin pads. Note to self - it takes longer than you think!
Next we had an entertaining trip to the garden centre. He chose carrot seedlings and nasturtiums which we will plant tomorrow.

Afternoon spent touring the North Mainland with Mason. Impressively we managed to fit in a sandwich lunch, then an ice cream stop, then a fish and chip tea.

On the return trip we stopped to take a closer look at the war memorial in Voe. A little discussion about dates, and the reality of real guns and bombs, as opposed to the video game variety.
