The dropped stitch

Red roof, White House

The day started very misty and we spent the morning playing Monopoly. With the sun the grandchildren dispersed - 1 on his bike, to search out football pals and 2 to play in next door's garden.

I had some mackerel to deliver and some boxes to collect, so I drove north in the afternoon. Errands completed, I enjoyed a delicious stir fry and a catch up with L.

The red hot pokers and red roof of this cottage, White House, caught my eye.
