Preening time........

.......after days of heavy rain, strong winds and thunderstorms.  Poor bird must have really needed to release some water repellent for its feathers!
Is it a kestrel? Any IDs please ;-)

We called into Yallingup on the way back to Perth as the 3 Amigos hadn't been allowed out of the car before as they hadn't packed their raincoats!!

You can see them in extras, checking out the waves as they say farewell to the glorious  soggy south west.  It's been fun and they are back to Doyley's tomorrow :-))
