TT 159...........favourite things

My tiny little chapel from the Quebrada de Humahuaca in the province of Jujuy in Argentina.

We lived in Buenos Aires for 3 years, from Jan 2002 until the end of 2004. We were fortunate to be able to travel extensively within the country as residents (not tourists). One of my favourite places was the NW, especially Salta and Jujuy.  I adored the colours of the hills, the people, the llamas, the gauchos, the wines and of course the food. Empanadas.......mmmmm.
The glass vial contains sands from the area. I keep them together on my bookcase and think often and fondly of our experiences there :-)
