The view from near the top of the Lake Louise gondola looking towards the turquoise coloured Lake Louise its colour being due to the melting glaciers above. Despite being June there were light flurries of snow shortly after taking the photo.
The extra is of the lake which apparently still had ice on it the previous day. Now the catkins were flowering and there were daffodils at the nearby hotel.
