Today's the day ............................. for surface tension

We've had the tiniest bit of rain today after yesterday's moan about how dry things are here.

There's been a bit of low cloud that has hung around keeping things on the damp side - and giving just enough misty rain to collect on the leaves of this Thalictrum. It reminds me of those children's games where you have to get the silver balls into the holes.

If we don't get a proper downpour tonight, we're going to have to resort to the hosepipe tomorrow .....................
