Vale of Lorton Walk - Keswick to Loweswater

We set off from Keswick via a taxi and got dropped off in Braithwaite. We were due to start our walk in Whinlatter Forest, but as we were so close to LPH we had to go and say hello to Debs. We knew John would be out and about with a group of guests. I first met Debs on one of the photography holidays in 2014.

We walked up to Whinlatter from here, and through the Vale of Lorton to the edge of Crummockwater, finishing in Loweswater. Our accommodation for the night was at the Kirkstile Inn.

We had just perfect weather for walking, fine, sunny, a little bit of a breeze, but not too hot. We walked about 10 miles today.
