Derwentwater Tree

We arrived in Keswick this afternoon for our 3 day walking trip. As we didn't need the car while we're up here we travelled by train and bus to get here. And it was a very smooth and stress-free way to travel.

We're walking over to Loweswater tomorrow, from Braithwaite. It's about 11 miles to cover. The walk has been organised by a local company based in Keswick and is called the Vale of Lorton walk.

We had time to have a quick wander down to Derwentwater before having a meal. Even though it was early in the week we couldn't get into our favourite Italian restaurant, so opted for a Thai meal. It was a new place and we  were quite impressed.
