St John Street to the Harbour

20.9C with sunshine and some cloud around. ESE/E/ENE wind to 22 mph with gusts to 33 mph.

Fergus and I went for our walk before lunch. More cloud around today but warmer. A good breeze made it feel fresher and was good for walking. We went round to the harbour, went along by the park and Kilkerran road to Glenramskill House.

We came back the same way then along the street side of the park and came home through town passing the town hall and the bookshop (open).

Preparations are well under way for tomorrows "Mokrun", a 10k and half marathon. I hope we can avoid the start of the races on the way back from tomorrow's grocery shopping. The roads are supposed to be open but they hold up the traffic while the last of the stragglers and walkers get away from the start which is a real pain.
