He’s home

Mr C phoned to say he’d had a bad night with pain - possibly indigestion. However his pacemaker was doing well, so he was hopeful he’d be home soon.

However they still had concerns so I went down for visiting time at 2.30 - managed to negotiate myself into the right lanes on A19 for a change - but failed to find a space in 2 of the car parks. One did not say FULL outside but then refused me entry saying it was full, by which time a queue behind me had built up. Hilarious.

Mr C was still in his hospital goonie and feeling bored. A young nurse came to monitor his heart rate which she announced was 42. We queried this - the pacemaker was supposed to kick in when his rate got below 60. She was not concerned.

Eventually, around 5pm, we secured his release. (Apparently the reading was a rogue one, and the little nick in his heart made by the screw without a satnav had caused the fluid around his heart which would disperse eventually.)

This is a bit of the garden
