A Belgian Beer Cafe in Richmond Road

More a bar and restaurant than a cafe, perhaps. But it does serve cafe food, and coffee from midmorning onwards, especially on the weekends. Owned and managed by a group who decided to establish NZ style Belgian Beer Cafes. Another of their "chain" which extends out of Auckland, is in the old Ponsonby Post Office.

Malt tends to focus on local food and drink. They get their meat from the organic butchery across the street (behind where I was stood), and the beer they feature is a small brewery.
