The waterfront

Leisurely breakfast and after check out we left our luggage and walked down to the harbour via the cathedral, (where we counted 15 tour buses) and then had a light lunch at Ela Fant before retrieving our bags and getting the airport bus, which was so convenient. (Thanks for the recommendation ArcLight).

The 3 hour flight to Heathrow was fine despite British Airways charging for food and drink. We had a wait in Heathrow - I thought T5 was dedicated to all BA flights but it’s not big enough (!} so we had to get the bus from T3 which passed the time.

It was chilly when we got to Newcastle where #3 daughter had waited up for us to say hello and give is back our car. Home at midnight, washing on.
