Sea stacks at Cullen
We had such a brilliant sleep
last night - I don't think
I've slept 11 hours since I was a teenager!
After breakfast we walked along the beach at our freedom camp to some large caves which we investigated. After packing up we stopped off at several pretty fishing villages and parked up to walk to the harbours. Crovie, Gardenstown, Portsoy, (with its 17th century harbour), Cullen (famous for its soup, Cullen Skink) with spectacular sea stacks and finally Portknockie.
We did not stop in Elgin or Forres as we hoped to see Brodie Castle. However it was closed when we got there so we had s wander in the grounds before getting to our CL site which is very sunny - we are sitting in T shirts at 7pm!- and sheltered in the old walled garden of a farm. There's only one other van. We have water, electricity and a toilet waste dump for £10.
It is lovely to travel with our home!
I'm sorry I'm missing reading your blips but I only get wifi on my phone and not often so I'm just posting when I can. It seems easier to see Facebook.
