Reflective roading

Riding home this evening after a brief shower, I went past the corner of K Road with Gundry Street (in no hurry as the lights ahead were red), and saw this. Had ample time and space, fortunately, to get in the right position for the reflections. 

The extra was taken this morning on the way to work. Oddly enough, I was standing on the other side of K Road opposite Gundry Street, when I took that photo. I'm intrigued by the impression the sun gives of being a ball, when see through a narrow gap between buildings.
