Still life

The wounded bird, driftwood from a Taranaki beach, picked up in 2015, brought back to Auckland at the end of a two month locum, since when it has lain on the table on the deck, removed temporarily when all the family sit at the table.

Even the African Violet would shift, but it hasn't had to yet, its only been here since last weekend, bought on mother's day, placed in the raffia basket, and survived the weather for five days.
