Happy Babies

After a night of torrential rain and massive explosive thunderclaps, the cool morning air called to us for a nature walk near Beaufort.

The verges are full of very different stuff down here, although some of it is familiar as garden plants back home. You’d pay a few quid for some of the weeds they have here!

I love bee orchids, and they appear to me as happy laughing babies, rather than bees. Probably, the bees don’t think so. We came across lots of these, as well as the yellow bee orchid and pyramid orchids.
