A Little Bit of aN oilly Pratt

It’s remarkable that the winds continue and there remains water in the clouds with which to dench us, but that’s the south of France for you. Stop smiling, Greg. ;-)

How best to avoid the deluge than a tour around “the” Vermouth factory in Marseillan: Noilly Pratt. Not on a par with the Scottish distilleries I’m looking forward to in a month’s time but nonetheless a decent day.

And then the sun came out anyway and Marseillan is a pretty port and marina town beside another Estang. So we managed to get two walks in today, including the pre-jaunt wet walk along the Canal!

We may have come home with some bottles with which to continue our exploration of Martini cocktails.
