Traffic Calming

A busy day turning the five compost bins in what until recently was the chicken run - ah, I know how to live, you know... The current plan for the now defunct run is to create a "secret garden" - although, being right beside the local playing field I'm not sure how long it will remain secret.

At a happy pause in the fun of it all, just as my back was asking nicely for  break in the digging over, one of the other parish councillors texted to alert me of a dozen steam traction engines about to pass by (and excuse to stop; thank you!). 

Turns out, one of the local steam engineers was celebrating a birthday, and all the engines came out to say hurrah! I hopped on Morrigan and chased them down the road, and there are more pictures on flickr. They mostly worked best with a gentle HDR processing - hope you agree.
