Today's the day . . . . . . . . . . . for island life

Seonag and Alasdair took us on a visit today to Uig - over on the west coast of the island of Lewis.

And what a paradise it was there with its multitude of pristine, white sand beaches, incredible geology and turquoise sea.  We were a little too early for the wildflowers of the machair - but it really was a wonderful place to be.
