The bee and the geraniums

Today's the day ....................... to bee happy

This is my first bee shot of 2017 - and I'm quite pleased with it.

I'm hoping one of my knowledgeable bee friends will tell me what sort of bee it is - because it was splendidly big, hairy and orange.  It had the geraniums all to itself and it was obviously in some sort of bee seventh heaven.  It was covered in pollen but just couldn't get enough of it.  The sun was shining and it was, without doubt, a happy bee.

There's a couple more happy bee-ings in the extra.  It was that sort of day ......................
