Singing from the rooftops!

To revive an old tradition and to celebrate Ascension Day, our church choir clambered up some very steep stone steps to get on to the roof of our local church - not quite up to the top of the tower!  And there we sang a couple of hymns and three anthems to a small group of townsfolk who came out to listen to us at 8:00am!  We were so lucky with the weather - sunny and only a light breeze.  Maybe next year we won't be so lucky....  We then went for a delicious full English breakfast in the local cafe.
