Up the road

Walked up our road this afternoon to get a shot of this vibrant laburnum tree.

My extra is our little foster dog Dottie during one of her walks this week which is when she could be without her lampshade collar as there was so much to distract her.  We took her as planned to the Dogs Trust vet today to have her stitches out.  However she was off her food this morning and had been sick overnight.  She is not her little feisty self today and it turns out she is not at all well so they have kept her in and are looking after her for the time being.  She has been given injections to stop her feeling so ill and they will reassess the situation in a couple of days.  All very upsetting for her and for us.  She still needs to have the ear canal out in her right ear and they also need to solve the problem of her very itchy back paws - which I think drives her mad.  Poor little teddy.  We send her lots of love and good wishes.  The house is very quiet without her.  :(
