Solo heron

The first thing that came to mind for the MM theme solo was a heron. Solitary birds, although the whitefaced ones are abundant here, they would make good solo artists in an orchestra. This one looks as if he is looking to the conductor awaiting his cue.

The extras were a bit of fun. Both reflections of the same bird in different light. The first you can see the stones through the water and the second  is hurrying to take his place in shiny water and has been flipped.
