Sunday sermon

The parson bird or tui hung out in our trees all day today, the first time that has happened. Usually they are in and out to the tui tea jar and away. This one mainly chattered away telling us all manner of things. Occasionally he broke into a fully fledged hymn but it was mostly some readings from the bible, a prayer or two and when I got right below him a scolding. I should have been off doing something less frivolous.

Mostly in the shade and totally wrong settings my efforts with the SX 60
weren't the best and I have had to resort to some hefty exposing and noise reducing in Lightroom. His white bobble burnt out as a consequence but see how he has puffed himself up to get the message across.

Of course he may be saying :"find something smaller and practice your Tiny Tuesday entry." TT154 it is open topic again this week but I will have a theme for the next 3 weeks. See the Community Column, Challenges next Sunday.
