Fladdabister Mills an Loch
Showers this morning, but the skies cleared and a warm sunny day. There was still the odd shower. At 5pm, we got a heavy hail shower, and a cooler evening.
I've had a busy day on the museum desk. There's a big conference on at the weekend, so I've been setting up tables and chairs, and the rest. Cleared out soil from the garden after tea, and headed to the dump. This evening was spent at the peat hill. I've been flaying the bank, taking the turf off. Hard work, and a great workout. The bank is ready for casting. A much earned night by the fire now.
With the fine day, I headed down the road at lunchtime. I had a brisk walk over the hill, and some flying time with the drone. This is looking over the old water mills, four of them run down the burn here. They are fed from the Fladdabister loch.
