That's what we Scots call a sparrow.

I have about half a dozen that regularly visit my fat ball feeder but they are not the only visitors .... magpies and crows make their appearance too but find it hard to balance for more than a few seconds at a time. The pigeons know when they are beaten so they just wander about underneath hoping for a morsel or two to be dropped.

Rain was forecast for today but so far we have been spared :-)  I should be out in the garden dead heading my camellia etc, but after playing five exhausting games of badminton and walking the dogs this morning I decided to put my feet up this afternoon before heading to patchwork class tonight.
