Evening light on the Old Man

Today was the Hawkshead Lakeland Trails race and we headed off after a good breakfast as we had volunteered to help, as well. (Mr Rat was on traffic duty and then sweeper for the longer races and I did some traffic duty and then removal/some sorting of timing chips - from ankles so usually muddy).
The second extra shows the hill we went up, along, down the far side, along and back over - 10miles and nearly 500m of ascent. I was pleased with my time for the tough route.
We returned to Coniston to clean up and went to the pub for a meal. The weather had been pretty good and the hills were catching the last of the sun (main pic and 2nd extra)
