Doe and Kit

I'd seen this rabbit doe in the back yard several times over the past few weeks, but when she appeared today, she had a kit with her (see extra), which seemed to relish the bright spring grass almost as much as its mother did.

The doe groomed herself thoroughly, using her powerful left hind leg and foot with far more dexterity than I thought possible. Some of the positions she got herself into reminded me of photos of yoga poses... not the ones we do in our Gentle Yoga class, however!

We're off on a jaunt Thursday morning, and I hope that I'll be able to post more often than has recently been the case. 

I'd better remember to bring all the relevant power cords...
