Such a gorgeous day...

...grateful for some sunshine. Particularly after the snowy start to our journey yesterday.

I took myself out for a run this morning...love a run along the promenade and it did not disappoint in the sunshine this morning.

Then we all went walking in Castlewellan...it’s the easier of the local walks if we want to take the buggy and sure enough just at the end of our circuit round the lake the wee lad dozed off! Kept that buggy moving for a bit, so he got a wee power nap to recharge his batteries, while my wee fella played in the park up by the peace maze. The Buncle took himself into the maze...we’ve done it a few times now so he managed to get through it. Indeed, he’s getting so tall I think he must be able to see over some of the hedges...maybe not but I wouldn’t be surprised :-)

After our walk we headed to the Railway Street coffee shop...Newcastle was mega busy today, took us a couple of slow tours of the town to get a car parking space. Fortified by a coffee and a gluten free chocolate brownie we did a wee grocery shop and then headed back to base.

Grateful for a sunny walk round Castlewellan lake.
