Pink Bonnet

This is actually a Lilac Bonnet (Mycena pura) although as it's more pink than lilac, it's my contribution to Breast Cancer Awareness.
Today I went on a foray with my local Natural History Society. I enjoy these, because Steve, the leader does all the hard work - explaining, and recording - meaning I can just relax, and take a few photos, although it was so cold today that it was quite difficult to do both. An added attraction today was a chance to see a working horse, a Clydesdale called Big Lad helping out with some tree felling in the wood we were visiting.
