Ploughman's
We chose a good day for lunch - it was definitely not an outdoors day - gloomy and wet. I met up with two very dear friends whom I don't see as often as I would like, due to the fact that they are busy professionals and I am an idle layabout. The place we used to go to changed its menu and its decor, and became pretentious and overpriced, so we were auditioning a new place, which although not cheap, provided tasty traditional fare, and as you can see from the picture, generous portions. It also had open fires and fine views over the misty moorland beyond a cricket pitch.
