Mini birthday bash

Asha requested that she have Charlie & Isabel over for a mini birthday party. Asha's 7 (7!!!!) tomorrow, but we've got church and all sorts of Easter celebrations...so today was a fake birthday! The girls played, ate pizza, drew and watched a movie. Asha loved it.
Later she & I created a cake topper out of a photo of Monkey, ready to adorn her cake we take to church on the beach tomorrow.

Drama of the day;
It taking 2 hours to put Nate to sleep.

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Asha's enjoyment of the day.
2) The kind woman at the print shop opening up for me despite having been closed for 4 hours!!! What a legend she is! Thanks to her we have a cake topper.
3) Bluetooth...our internet is broken again... grateful I could Bluetooth blip (& extras) to my phone!

The drawing on the cake was Chris's answer to having no monkey for tmrw...he inspired the cake topper idea. Asha was actually delighted with this monkey flag topper thing! Ha!
