Good Friday

The kids and I got out early as Danny was teaching an english class in the flat...we went to the park then sat in the sun. We met a belgian lady who lives on the streets. She was so lovely, with such a sad story, she kept crying, and any time I was kind to her she'd cry more. We had a long time together and she taught Asha a game with stones, and sang Nate a French song my Mamie sang to me. She recently had all her things stolen from her, so I gave her some of my clothes. When Danny and I went to find her and handed them over she welled up again and hugged me tight. A hard life...
This evening Asha and I headed out to the Good Friday procession...a sombre affair...Asha was mesmerised. I'll add my friend's phone pic into extras.

Today I'm grateful for,
1) Having a roof over my head.
2) Asha being so engaged with the Good Friday procession.
3) Sitting beneath the lighthouse for a picnic lunch (blipped).
