The defiance of nature

A beautiful spring day. Headed to North Berwick to help my mother with some shopping and house things like repairing the door bell (successfully!).

On my way there I stopped to walk the dog at a lay by. Sadly it is used as a fly tipping area. This solitary daffodil shows how Nature finds a way to keep going despite what we dump.

Elsewhere there were still fields of Brussel sprouts. See extra. They are clearly not just for Christmas.
