Casares beach

A beautiful sunny and clear day today. We went to the expat club we joined last week (The International Club of Estepona) this morning and had lunch there. We then drove to Casares Beach and walked back along the beach towards Estepona but had to stop when we came to a river that didn't have a bridge across. Although if we'd have walked inland we could have crossed it near the main road.

We could clearly see Gibraltar and the coast of Africa. I realized what we had thought was Gib last November was in fact Africa and Gib is much closer, but can only be seen when you are a bit higher up. Shame that a hill blocks the view of Gib from our apartment.

After we got back we went up on the roof just to check that it is Africa that we can see and not Gib. In the other direction we could clearly see this tower and where we walked today.
