Rhonda
We went to Rhonda today with Margaret and Alan. It is a beautiful hill town, the two halves of which span a deep and very dramatic gorge joined by an arched bridge. It's about 40 miles inland from Marbella.
We were lucky to have a lovely clear and sunny day, but it was very cold. Only 7°c, according to the sign on the "Farmacia", when we arrived and it only got up to 10°c in the afternoon. I nearly bought some gloves when we arrived, and then spent the rest of the day regretting I hadn't, as my hands were so cold. But we had a lovely day walking around the town and found a nice restaurant in a pretty square for lunch. The restaurant was made all the more attractive by the roaring fire in the fireplace! We also managed to fit in a couple of coffee shops during the day!
Another lovely day of memories to take home.
