No Parking

We were almost deterred by the heavy snow in East Wales but aided by on the ground reports from friends we decided to chance it.  Most of the journey was uncomplicated but on the highest part of the route we came across evidence of just how tricky the conditions had been earlier.  The car 'parked' off piste was about to be winched up and onto a low loader.  By the time we came along, the snow was blowing back across the road here,  undoing the good work of the snow plough but as we dropped down to he coast the snow thinned to nothing.

Good to be back in the newly redecorated hostel.  Not so keen on the very early start tomorrow but with better weather it promises to be fun.
