Life

A very special funeral. A man with a quiet but strong faith, by which he lived, treating everyone with equal kindness. No need to worry about what he would have wanted..... David left a detailed plan for today. My brother in law officiated at the Requiem Mass, David’s daughters read his chosen readings. Jacinta sang and Jamie played his violin. The service was relayed to Una at home via Skype. Even the weather played its part, glorious sunshine.

Families and friends celebrated a life well lived well into the afternoon.

As I sit at the funeral directors late in the afternoon, awaiting the RAC - another problem withe the car this morning - I have time to reflect on life.
