To blur or not to blur?

That is the question.

Tried to get this shot yesterday but a) it wasn't very good and b) I liked the HF&R photo better. Today I did have a couple of other choices but narrowed it down to two versions of this; the other one had the Cathedral blurred. In the end I went with this one (I guess that is obvious really). Blurred Cathedral is here

Around the city the council have people using leaf blowers to blow leaves into piles. From what I have seen this results in children kicking them all over the place when they get the chance. They haven't got round to this spot yet and I like the pink rising up from the green and brown.

The first of the 90something chalets (sheds to you and me) have been erected around the Inner Close for the Christmas Market. The market opens on 22 November and is well worth a visit.

The pink cyclamen are my second contribution to Breast Cancer Awareness month. Not a very good effort of including pink in blips.

Cyclamen are apparently also known as sowbread and they are called pain de pourceau in France. According to the dictionary I have found this is literally translated as bread of swine
