Carpet of Leaves

The autumn colours are wonderful and as usual I had my camera with me for my walk to work in the hope of finding something blipworthy.

I always pass this row of trees on my way to work and in fact I blipped them in the spring when they were in blossom. I thought they looked particularly nice today with the leaves on the ground, so of course I had to put my bags down and crouch down to try and take this shot. I'm sure people passing by were wondering what I was doing - the things we'll do to get a good blip! It's worth having a look from ground level.

As you can see it's another lovely day - I think it's leading us into a false sense of security and the cold weather will really hit us hard!
