Happy Halloween

I'm a little early with this blip I know, but we're away next week and won't be here on Halloween, so I thought I'd blip my pumpkin candles today.

I've had rather an eventful morning and it's only 12pm. I had to take Louis to the vets to get his passport in order for travelling to England on Saturday. I passed by the other day to checked their opening hours as some mornings you don't need an appointment, and Thursday between 9am-10am was included on that list. So I turned up at 9am - the vet let me in and asked if I'd got an appointment. I said I hadn't but that I'd checked his opening times - apparently the times have changed and he's closed on Thursday mornings, and he was about to operate on a cat! I offered to go back tonight, but he was very nice and dealt with the relevant paperwork for me.

Then I went to the gym for my Zumba class - I parked the car at the side of the road, not blocking any entrances (as far as I was aware) and went to my class. About half way through the class one of the gym staff came and asked me if I'd got a black Nissan Qashqai - I said that I had a black car but not a Qashqai, and thought nothing more of it.

When the class finished and I went to my car a guy was waiting for me. He asked me if I spoke French and proceeded to tell me that he'd been waiting 45 minutes to move his delivery truck and couldn't because of my car. I was very apologetic and explained that the girl had said it was a black Nissan which mine isn't, so I didn't realise there was a problem. As far as I could see there was definitely room for him to move his truck but what do I know? He then went on to tell me that the Police were on their way to remove my car! So I apologised again, got in the car and drove off before they arrived....

I can only hope my day gets better as I have a lot to do today!
