The LadyBird
Apparently also know as God's Cow (who knew!?).
The Coccinellidae's, their Latin name don't you know, were out in full force today & it took me a while to realise it. One little buglet had managed to get itself inside the house & so I set about freeing it out the back door & into the garden, perhaps cheekily Blipping it's walk to freedom in the process! I placed the little critter on a nearby green shrubbery & after a few moments, he duly took flight. Well, I wasn't quite done with this little spotted creature & so went on the hunt for more..
I had to take a step or two back, quite literally, before I realised that there was a whole gang of them clumsily bounce-landing onto the house & wandering around on the walls. The recent mild-warm autumn weather is obviously their favourite & so they obviously weren't going to miss their opportunity to socialise.
I took a few mis-snaps of bush leaves before I finally got this ladybug taking off. I think she's pretty cool & you sometimes forget how intricate & amazing everything is with something so small.
The Ladbirds day out reflects my own day of freedom before I begin my role as... *du du du duuu*... Administration Assistant! *much applause* *cheering* *the odd woop here & there*. Yes, very exciting.
