Plucking

I have to say I wasn't expecting, when I turned left out of my front gate this morning, to run into a plucking chicken strolling down the street just a few moments later...! Here's the photographic evidence. What was it doing there, Blipfoto? I reckon: getting ready to cross the road. (Busy stretch of tarmac just out of shot...)
