Snow day #2

Living on a hill, our road gets turned into a ski slope by the local children as soon as it snows.  I don't blame them as I would have done the same when I was their age - in fact I have some wonderful memories of toboganning down the hill that I lived atop when I was young.  Thankfully, this is the first year it has not mattered for either Mr A or myself to try getting our cars out of the drive...that road surface becomes glossy with ice very quickly.

The extra shows a little lad making a "snow angel" on our driveway...or at least just getting up from one.  I wish I had been quick enough to capture the angel action shot!

This is also day two of Mr A not visiting Mr A Snr in hospital, as the roads between here and there are treacherous.  Sadly, Mr A Snr pobably won't realise if he's had a visitor or not.

As a treat for "snow day", Mr A and I snuggled up together and watched a film in the afternoon...an unheard of luxury!

Anyway, by this time tomorrow the snow will probably have been washed away...
