Going, going

and then gone.  A stream runs along the boundary of our section and the section behind us. On either side of the boundary there are trees which provide both privacy and shelter from the winds.  Our neighbour has now decided to cut down the trees on his side of the boundary and today the first one came down.  The arborist' can be seen in the tree and main picture while the extra shows the changed outlok late this afternoon.  It is  when the big trees further along the boundary come down that I may shed a tear or two.
